    AIM & OBJECTIVES

    The objectives of this course are to provide the learner(s) with basic understanding of health and safety in the workplace. This course is  aimed at individuals who seek basic understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace, suitable for any sector.



    ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

    Learners must be at least 15 years old.



    MAX. GROUP SIZE

    12 people



    DELIVERY & ASSESSMENT

    The course will be delivered over the course of a single day, with minimal disruption to your business.


    Methods involve the use of case studies, examples and recognisable scenarios, as well as interactive quizzes and discussions. Summaries and take-away materials are also provided for the learner to use in the workplace.


    Assessment involves a single question paper and a multiple choice hazard awareness exercise.


    This course can be delivered at the clients specified location or on IVIC Training premises. Course fees are dependant on the size of the group to be taught and the venue/travel arrangements. This can be discussed with the course organiser during registration.



    CERTIFICATION

    Successful candidates will have the choice ro recieve an IOSH Working Safely Certificate and/or an IOSH Safety Passport.



    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    This course is recognised internationally as an equivalent to Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in Construction.  Successful completion of this course will mean that candidates can apply for a CITB Health, Safety & Environment Operatives Test, which will contribute to their successful application of a CSCS Green Labourer Card.

    AIM & OBJECTIVES

    The objectives of this session are to revisit the material and topics covered, in preparation for learners sitting the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Operatives Test. 

    This session is  aimed at individuals as part of their pathway to applying for a CSCS Green Labourer Card. 



    ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

    Learners must be at least 16 years old participate in the CSCS Test.

    Learners must have completed a Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in Construction, IOSH Working Safely Award or equivalent.


    MAX. GROUP SIZE

    12 people



    DELIVERY & ASSESSMENT

    The session is classroom based and will cover all the safety categories associated with the CITB HS&E Test.


    This course can be delivered at the clients specified location or on IVIC Training premises. Course fees are dependant on the size of the group to be taught and the venue/travel arrangements. This can be discussed with the course organiser during registration.
